As mentioned in ancient Chinese classics, "There are some fixed principles in governing a state, among which benefiting the people should be the root."

The people-centered development philosophy is not an abstract, abstruse concept. We will not restrict ourselves to lip service or idle reflection, but put it into practice in all areas of social and economic development. We should maintain the people's principal position in the country, and fulfill the people's expectations for a better life. We should continue to realize, safeguard and develop the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the people. We should ensure that development is for the people that it is reliant on the people, and that its fruits are shared by the people.

President Xi Jinping quoted "there are some fixed principles in governing a state, among which benefiting the people should be the root" to put forward a request from a larger and broader perspective. The request is to further share resources and safeguard the interests of the people.

This also includes sharing educational resources, medical resources, and resources in other aspects of life, because these are what really matter to people's interests and livelihoods.
